Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between T.G. Tonying (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Methuselah Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). G. Tonying and Methuselah Couture. Tonying's entrance music is Old ways - Chiddy bang. A fine choice. Couture comes into a darkened arena with his song building. wait, nvmnd! thats just the tapping of his cane as he walks. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Methuselah Couture!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonying lands a head shot.
Tonying fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Couture.
Couture throws a body punch but Tonying moves out of range.
Tonying swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tonying lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Methuselah Couture has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tonying takes a swing at Couture's ribcage but misses.
Tonying throws a shot from downtown. Couture moves away and avoids it.
Tonying wants to clinch.
Tonying displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Couture throws out the jab.

A looping hook to the body misses from Couture. Tonying does a little dance to reset his feet.
Couture looks to score with a jab to the body but Tonying is just out of range.
A slow jab from Couture misses its intended target.
The crowd cheers as Couture lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tonying doesn't seem phased though.
Couture blocks a head kick by Tonying.
Couture moves out of range of the strikes.
Couture just misses with a punch to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Couture, as that shot connected.
Couture throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Couture bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Couture connects with a looping right hand.
Couture plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Tonying is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Couture's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Couture looking to score a takedown here. Tonying is defending well but Couture drives through and ends up in Tonying's guard.

Couture stands and steps away. Tonying gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Couture throws a hook but Tonying avoids it easily.
Couture connects with a crisp jab.
A jab from Couture misses.
Couture throws a lazy uppercut
and Tonying finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Couture looks gassed!

A swing and a miss from Tonying.
Tonying swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tonying throws a low kick but it's checked well by Couture.
Tonying throws a jab but it's blocked by Couture.
Tonying throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Couture stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Couture on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tonying. Tonying obviously looking to wear him down.
Jab, jab by Tonying - just one landing.
Couture has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tonying clobbers Couture with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Tonying tries to clinch there but Couture circles away.

Tonying throws a jab but it's blocked by Couture.

Couture ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tonying slips a jab from Couture.
Tonying uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Couture.

Tonying gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Couture avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tonying digs a right hand into Couture's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Couture's gas tank.

Tonying drops Couture onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Couture is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
