The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Machida or perhaps it was just good defense by Louvierre which made him look bad.
Louvierre lands a left and a right that sends Machida crashing to the canvas! Louvierre dives into mount looking to finish!
Machida is rocked!
It looks like Mike Machida has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Louvierre softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Machida is out cold! Louvierre jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Louvierre!
