Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Me Down (Swollen Mix Feat. Saigon) . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Brandao!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liddell as he avoids it easily.
Brandao fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Liddell avoids it really well and circles away.
Liddell moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Liddell throws a jab but it's blocked by Brandao.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Brandao wants to clinch.
Liddell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brandao's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brandao lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Liddell!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liddell tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Brandao is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Liddell can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Brandao swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Liddell is now in Brandao's guard. A big mistake from Brandao there, giving up the dominant position!

Brandao is pressing down on Liddell's thigh, looking to free his foot. Liddell is holding on for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brandao is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Liddell defends it well.

Brandao shoots in looking for a takedown. Liddell tries to sprawl out of it but Brandao keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liddell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brandao avoids a punch combination nicely.

Liddell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Liddell cracks Brandao with an open hand slap.
Liddell connects with a single shot there.

Liddell is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Brandao seems to have recovered his senses.
Liddell seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Liddell lands a nice short elbow.
Liddell is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Liddell has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brandao is proving hard to escape from.
Brandao is looking for a triangle but Liddell pushes his legs off easily.

Brandao quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Liddell has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Brandao celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Diego Brandao really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that RMC - $ 11 Shorts! logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
