The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nava lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nava paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Nava gets a clinch.
Nava misses with a punch to the body.

Nava gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mifune.
Nava tries to throw a body punch but Mifune avoids it by throwing Nava back against the cage.
Nava tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Nava tries to work over Mifune's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Mifune wants to control from the top but Nava keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kyuzo Mifune.
Nava keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nava misses with a wild body shot.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nava swings for the body but Mifune moves out of range.
Mifune closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nava lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mifune with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nava to score with a decent uppercut.
Mifune is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nava sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jesus Nava has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyuzo Mifune.

Nava closes the distance and pushes Mifune back into the cage.
Nava is leaning against Mifune and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Mifune looks gassed!
A nice right hand lands inside from Nava.
Nava stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Nava struggles to land a body shot inside as Mifune controls his hands.
Nice body punch from Nava - that landed with a thud.

Nava breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mifune takes one on the button.
Jab, jab by Nava - just one landing.
Nava lunges at Mifune with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mifune's hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nava dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nava scores with a jab. Mifune acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A punch lands to the side of Mifune 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mifune takes one to the side of the head.
Nava connects with a body shot that sends Mifune's belly button to the back.
Nava lands a nice shot to the body.

Nava feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mifune sprawling to the canvas! Mifune rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nava finish him?!

Mifune is rocked!
Mifune takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mifune is still on wobbly legs! Can Nava finish him?
Crack! Nava connects with the perfect overhand right and Mifune falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Nava!
