Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vedad Zilic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and spark plug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vedad Zilic is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

plug feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Zilic has his foot on plug's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. plug works his way back into a safe position though.

plug stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zilic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

plug is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zilic is just riding it out for now. plug eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
plug pushes Zilic away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Zilic gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
plug manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Zilic is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of plug's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take plug's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zilic gets his hands free as plug looks to control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
plug is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Zilic lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
