The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hurt drops his hands momentarily and Pep takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hurt ducks under a wild hook from Pep.
A head kick misses from Hurt.
Pep throws a hook but Hurt avoids it easily.
Hurt moves away from the strike by Pep.
Hurt throws a sloppy head kick and Pep moves out of range easily.
Hurt blocks a jab.
Pep lands a jab-cross combination.
Pep throws a hook but Hurt avoids it easily.

Pep's corner calls for a 1-2. Pep obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Pep might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Hurt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Frankie Pep tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
