Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nic Newcomer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newcomer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is High by Lil Wayne. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie tries to clinch but Newcomer is having none of it.
Gracie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jorge Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Newcomer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Newcomer shoots in and bounces Gracie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie working for a triangle but Newcomer defends it easily.

Gracie pushes Newcomer off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Newcomer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Newcomer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Gracie is rocked!
Newcomer lands a big elbow - Gracie is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Newcomer!
