Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knock Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Steel's choice of entrance music: Immortal Technique-Point of no return. Cory Steel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Knock Out!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cory Steel!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steel drives through and clinches with Out against the cage.
Steel fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Out blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Steel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Steel creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Out's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Steel swings wildly with an uppercut but Out uses good head movement to avoid it.
Steel struggles to land a body shot inside as Out controls his hands.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Steel lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Steel content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Steel lands with a short shot to the head.
Steel manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Steel continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Out manages to break the clinch.
Out waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Steel.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Steel closes the distance looking to clinch
and Out counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cory Steel dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Out thuds a left hand into Steel's body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Steel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Steel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Steel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Out paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Out throws a series of punches but Steel avoids them all with ease.

Steel is looking to clinch but Out is avoiding it.
Out misses with a few strikes there.
Steel connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Out throws a hook but Steel avoids it easily.

Out throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Steel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jab, jab by Out - just one landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Out counters with a crisp one two that drops Steel! Out thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Steel to his feet! Steel is in big trouble!
Steel tries to close the distance and clinch but Out swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Steel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Knock Out is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Out circles away from the clinch attempt.
Out walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Out gets tackled into the cage by Steel. Steel maintains the clinch.
Steel misses with a short punch on the inside.
Out is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Steel is keeping busy.
Steel misses with a hook to the ribs.
Steel is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Steel misses with some punches.

A head punch on the inside from Steel fails to land.

Out blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Steel lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Out.

Out is rocked!
Steel lands with a right to the head.
Oh Out is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cory Steel seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Steel lands a body shot in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Steel lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Out to his knees! Steel keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory Steel!
A less than humble Cory Steel misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
