The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cooper gets caught flat footed, as Clark shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Clark sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cooper's guard.
Clark passes to full mount!
Cooper is trying desperately to improve position.
Cooper has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Clark is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Cooper is defending well though. Clark let's go of the attempt for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
