Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marciano comes into the arena with lets dance blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Professor Green - Monster . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Michael Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marciano does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jones parries the strikes from Marciano easily there. Marciano is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jones to escape.

Marciano is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Marciano here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
