And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cromwich gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kotzlowski counters by moving into the clinch.
Cromwich drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kotzlowski gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kotzlowski prevents a takedown attempt there.
Igor Kotzlowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Cromwich.
Kotzlowski lands a nice uppercut.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Igor Kotzlowski.
Cromwich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kotzlowski's waist but Kotzlowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cromwich off to one side.

Kotzlowski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cromwich's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kotzlowski stands up and waves to Cromwich to follow him.

Kotzlowski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kotzlowski lands in his opponent's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
