Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cu IV (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cu IV!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Francis Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
IV shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jordan defends it nicely.
Jordan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

IV closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
IV has Jordan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jordan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jordan is trying to maintain a safe position but IV gets an underhook and turns Jordan into the cage.
Jordan gets underhooks to prevent IV's takedown attempt.

Jordan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with IV. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jordan is looking for a triangle but IV pushes his legs off easily.
IV sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Jordan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

IV has Jordan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jordan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jordan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning IV up against the cage.

IV changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jordan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
IV shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jordan but Jordan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

IV tightens his grip and picks Jordan up, before dumping him to the ground. Jordan manages to land in guard.

IV has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jordan wants to stand and escape but IV is having none of it.

A close second round but Francis Jordan will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Jordan rushes IV and presses him up against the cage.

IV has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jordan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Jordan looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Jordan tries to break free.
Jordan wants to get back to his feet.
IV connects with a big shot to the side of Jordan's head.
Jordan trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Jordan is really stuck here.

IV is punishing Jordan with some ground and pound.
IV just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Cu IV overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jordan tries to escape the position.

Jordan just trying to survive but IV is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Jordan biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape.

IV is punishing Jordan with strikes - can he finish him?!
Jordan is still in real trouble! Can IV finish him?
IV cracks Jordan with a big right hand from the back mount! Jordan immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! IV takes this one by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cu IV!
