Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luck Miller!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley fails with a takedown attempt.

Miller feints and as Marley raises his hands in defense, Miller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Miller misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Miller creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Marley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Marley pushes Miller away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Miller gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller moves into full mount!

Miller is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Marley to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Marley shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miller throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luck Miller dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Nice takedown defense from Marley. No joy for Miller on that attempt.
No joy there for Marley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marley is defended easily by Miller.

Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Marley sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Miller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Marley's head.
Marley wants to get back to his feet.
Luck Miller has got the better of the ground game so far.

Miller is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Miller wants to take a breather but Marley is having none of it.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Miller. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Miller is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
