Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Henki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Novak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stephan Henki could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Novak's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henki tries to sprawl but Novak drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Henki is trying to stand back up but Novak is controlling him
Novak is just content to waste time from the top position. Henki takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Henki has Novak pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Henki pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Novak tumbling to the mat - Henki dives into Novak's guard.

Novak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Henki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Henki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Novak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Henki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
