Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Slain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mouth Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slain kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is green green grass. Billy Slain has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Slain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Mouth Wash!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slain wants to clinch up but Wash keeps it at a distance.
Wash takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wash looks to land a combination but Slain avoids it well.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Slain throws a right hand that Wash ducks under and follows up with a left that Wash also avoids with ease.
Wash lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slain circles away quickly and effectively.
Slain moves in looking to clinch but Wash pushes him off.
A punch combination from Wash misses.
Sloppy strikes from Wash. Those never looked like landing.
Wash tries to bum rush Slain with a series of wild strikes but Slain uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wash looks gassed!
Slain tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wash gets tackled into the cage by Slain. Slain maintains the clinch.
Wash is looking to break free of the clinch but Slain has double underhooks.

Slain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mouth Wash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slain feints and then cracks Wash's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wash down.

Slain gets a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wash has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Slain breaks from the clinch.
Wash throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Slain forces Wash back against the cage and clinches.
Slain goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Slain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Slain.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Slain fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slain fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Slain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wash swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Slain tries to clinch there but Wash circles away.

Slain pushes Wash up against the cage in a clinch.
Slain with a knee to the head.
Slain lands an elbow inside.
Slain lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


It looks like Mouth Wash has been cut.
Slain lands a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slain landing knees to the head.
Slain putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Wash in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Slain unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Slain lands a body punch in the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Slain.

Slain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oooooh!!! Slain has knocked Wash down with a huge combo! Slain steps away and waves a wobbly Wash back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Wash is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Slain fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wash, pushing him back against the cage.
Wash is still on wobbly legs! Can Slain finish him?
Slain jerks Wash's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Wash drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Slain goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Slain because Wash was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Billy Slain!
