Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Dunlap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Dunlap acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Dunlap!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey tries to clinch there but Dunlap circles away.
Bob Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bailey tries to clinch up but Dunlap circles away and keeps his distance.
Bailey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dunlap keeps the fight on the outside.
Bailey wants to clinch up but Dunlap keeps it at a distance.
Bailey tries to clinch but Dunlap is having none of it.
Dunlap shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bailey pinned against the cage. Bailey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dunlap fails with the takedown.
Bailey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dunlap moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bailey tries to close the distance and clinch but Dunlap swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dunlap.
Dunlap has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Dunlap is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bailey can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Dunlap is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bailey has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bailey!
Bailey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dunlap on the ground.

Dunlap looking for a guillotine here but Bailey defends easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dunlap is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dunlap pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bailey is keeping the position for now.

Dunlap has gone for a leg lock! Bailey slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dunlap's guard.
Dunlap looks gassed!

Dunlap is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Dunlap had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bailey is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dunlap Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bailey's back instead.
Bailey is trying to stand back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Dunlap is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bailey has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Dunlap has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bailey has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Dunlap is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Bailey is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dunlap gets his way!
I really don't envy Bailey right now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dunlap is looking for a rear naked choke here but Bailey reverses the position brilliantly into Dunlap's guard!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jeff Dunlap dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


The fight stays on the outside here - Bailey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dunlap tries to pass to full mount but Bailey defends it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bailey tries to kick Dunlap off but Dunlap keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Dunlap is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bailey is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jeff Dunlap!
