Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudolf Strudel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Der Weed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strudel's entrance music is I'm too Sexy - Right said Fred. A fine choice. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strudel throws a series of punches but Weed avoids them all with ease.
Strudel throws a lazy right hand but Weed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rudolf Strudel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strudel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Weed shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strudel sprawls well. Strudel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Weed gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice straight punches there by Strudel. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Strudel.

Weed gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Weed is trying to pull guard but Strudel turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Strudel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Weed has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Weed there as he acknowledges the shot.
Strudel looks to score with a jab to the body but Weed is just out of range.

Strudel throws a leg kick but Weed sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Weed closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Strudel to the mat! Strudel manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Weed stays in close to Strudel's body and controls the position.
Strudel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Weed on the ground.
Let's hope that Weed has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Weed uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Strudel.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Weed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Weed tries to free his leg and advance position but Strudel is retaining full guard.

Weed thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Strudel pulls Weed in close to his closed guard and prevents Weed from doing any damage or advancing position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Weed controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Weed shoots in looking for a takedown. Strudel tries to sprawl out of it but Weed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Strudel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Strudel lands an overhand right.
Weed throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Weed shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Weed showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Strudel is staying active underneath Weed, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Weed passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Strudel!
