The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mahoney on the side of the head.
Crane connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mahoney. Mahoney circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mahoney misses with a series of wild punches.
Crane connects with a jab.
Crane throws a shot to the body.
Crane scores with a nice right hand.
Mahoney shoots in for a takedown but Crane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Crane scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Crane stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crane wants it to stay on the feet.
Mahoney ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crane moves away.
Crane lands a nice looking body shot.
Mahoney takes one to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd cheers as Crane lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mahoney doesn't seem phased though.
Mahoney tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mahoney somewhat.
Crane keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Crane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mahoney has time to react.

Nice sprawl there from Crane as Mahoney shoots in.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crane, as that shot connected.
Crane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mahoney momentarily.
Crane keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mahoney drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mahoney throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Crane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mahoney is rocked!
Crane walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mahoney drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Crane swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mahoney's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
