Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hank Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samir Oliva!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oliva wants it to stay on the feet.
A nice inside leg kick there by Oliva. That's going to slow Martin down.
Oliva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Martin.
Martin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Oliva lands a big head kick that sends Martin tumbling to the mat! Oliva takes a step backwards and waves Martin back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Martin is rocked!


It looks like Hank Martin has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A solid leg kick lands there for Oliva.

Oliva lands a big head kick that sends Martin tumbling to the mat! Oliva takes a step backwards and waves Martin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Martin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Martin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Martin misses with a double jab
and Oliva counters with a body kick.
Martin is breathing heavily.
Oliva fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Martin seems to have got his legs back now.
Oliva delivers a nice body kick.
Martin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Oliva can pounce on him.
Martin misses with a double jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Oliva.
Martin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Oliva lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Oliva scores with a spinning back kick!
Crunch! Oliva slams his shin into Martin's torso.
That kick from Oliva tenderised Martin's leg. Martin is trying to keep his angry face on.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliva throws a head kick that half lands.
Martin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oliva avoids it really well and circles away.
Martin on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Oliva lands a big head kick that sends Martin to the canvas! Oliva follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samir Oliva!
Our winner, Samir Oliva, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
