Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Petkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petkovic comes to the cage accompanied by BvC Crew - KOSOVO. Vaughn has chosen Walking Tall as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roman Petkovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petkovic blocks a leg kick.
Vaughn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Petkovic under the eye.


It looks like Roman Petkovic has been cut.

Vaughn has managed to clinch.
Vaughn is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Petkovic is keeping busy.
Vaughn prevents a body shot from Petkovic.

Vaughn has hold of one of Petkovic's legs. Petkovic is fighting the takedown attempt but Vaughn gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Vaughn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Petkovic wants to sweep here but Vaughn controlling him for the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vaughn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Chris Vaughn has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Petkovic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vaughn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Petkovic somewhat.
Petkovic throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Vaughn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Petkovic will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Good exchange - Vaughn coming out on top.
Vaughn cracks Petkovic with an open hand slap.
Petkovic takes a swing at Vaughn's ribcage but misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Vaughn. Petkovic does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vaughn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Petkovic sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Petkovic tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vaughn throws a right hand that Petkovic ducks under and follows up with a left that Petkovic also avoids with ease.
Vaughn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Good standup being displayed there by Vaughn as he connects with a hook.
Vaughn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Petkovic fails in his attempt to clinch.
Petkovic doesn't manage to clinch there - Vaughn circles away.
Petkovic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vaughn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Vaughn lands a nice shot that snaps Petkovic's head back.

Vaughn throws a shot from downtown. Petkovic moves away and avoids it.

Vaughn is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Petkovic is keeping busy.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Vaughn as Petkovic tries to tie him up.
Vaughn lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Vaughn has picked Petkovic up - he's going for a ride! Vaughn dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Petkovic looking for a guillotine here but Vaughn defends easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Petkovic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vaughn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Petkovic looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Vaughn trying to control but Petkovic is working from the bottom.
Vaughn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Petkovic kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Chris Vaughn wasn't active enough on the ground.
Petkovic shoots in for a double leg but Vaughn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vaughn catches Petkovic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Petkovic has managed to clinch.
Vaughn doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vaughn pulls guard effortlessly.
Vaughn is trying to control the position but Petkovic postures up.
Vaughn is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Petkovic passes Vaughn's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Vaughn is trying to stand up here but Petkovic is controlling him well.

Petkovic is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vaughn sees it coming and defends easily.
Vaughn wants to control but Petkovic is keeping busy.
Petkovic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Vaughn wants to get back to full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Petkovic seems to be working for a kimura but Vaughn defends the submission attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Chris Vaughn.

Vaughn tightens his grip and picks Petkovic up, before dumping him to the ground. Petkovic manages to land in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Petkovic has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vaughn defend it? Petkovic steps over the head and cranks it - Vaughn is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Petkovic!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Roman Petkovic!
Post fight, Roman Petkovic stared into the camera and said 'Well...this was a trilogy, three battles and after all it's 2:1 for me. Hits hurts, after some though knockouts in past I have to take some break. Maybe for now, maybe it will be the end of MMA Adventure for me.
