Meridius comes to the cage accompanied by Ça Vaut Mieux Que D'attraper la Scarlatine . The crowd seem to be enjoying Christophe's choice of entrance music: Nickelback - Burn It To The Ground. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Meridius.
Christophe shoots in for a double leg but Meridius sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Christophe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Meridius's waist but Meridius gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Christophe off to one side.

That was a close second round but I would say that Maximus Decimus Meridius will probably get the nod.
