Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Olsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Meesters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olsen comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Say No - Conor Maynard. Bart Meesters is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meesters feints and as Olsen raises his hands in defense, Meesters changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Olsen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Meesters with a flurry of punches that miss.
Meesters postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Meesters looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Bart Meesters has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Meesters shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Olsen defends it nicely.

Meesters shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Meesters tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Olsen wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Meesters.
Meesters takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Olsen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Olsen tries to get out of the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bart Meesters was stalling too much, according to the referee.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Olsen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Meesters tries to avoid it but Olsen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Meesters to the ground. Meesters escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Meesters feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Meesters not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Let's hope that Meesters has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
