Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roque Barretto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barretto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Last Man Standing - By 4ft Fingers. Ortiz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2Pac - All Eyes On Me. Roque Barretto could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Forrest Ortiz's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz staying out of range there.
A slow jab from Barretto misses its intended target.
Ortiz jabs Barretto to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Barretto connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ortiz misses with a body kick.
Barretto cracks Ortiz with a right hand to the side of the head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ortiz.
A combination from Barretto does no damage.
Ortiz checks the leg kick nicely there.
Barretto wants to land a leg kick but Ortiz is out of range.
Ortiz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ortiz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barretto.

Barretto throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Ortiz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Barretto finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Barretto throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Ortiz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Barretto throws a low kick, looking for Ortiz's leg but Ortiz calmly moves out of range.
Barretto thows a left - swing and a miss!
Barretto lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barretto tries a head kick but it misses.
Barretto wants to slow Ortiz down by chopping away at his legs.
Roque Barretto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ortiz tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barretto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ortiz - the referee stops the clock and Barretto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ortiz. Barretto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ortiz misses the jab.
Barretto throws a head kick that half lands.
Barretto walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ortiz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
An inside leg kick from Ortiz misses.
Ortiz moves out of range of the body kick from Barretto.
Ortiz misses with a low kick.
Barretto scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A looping hook to the body misses from Barretto. Ortiz does a little dance to reset his feet.

A nice inside leg kick there by Barretto. That's going to slow Ortiz down.
Barretto takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Barretto lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Barretto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barretto walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Ortiz throws a shot from downtown. Barretto moves away and avoids it.
Ortiz swings for the body but Barretto moves out of range.
Barretto loads up on a big right hand but Ortiz slips the punch.

Barretto works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ortiz is still on wobbly legs! Can Barretto finish him?
Ortiz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Barretto lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Ortiz - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Barretto!
