Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brett Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Miller as Garcia shoots in.
Miller tries to bum rush Garcia with a series of wild strikes but Garcia uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Garcia shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Oooooh!!! Miller has knocked Garcia down with a huge combo! Miller steps away and waves a wobbly Garcia back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Rafael Garcia has been cut.

Miller lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Garcia is looking for a kimura but Miller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Garcia to get the leverage.

That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Garcia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Miller defends it nicely.
Garcia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garcia off to one side.

Brett Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Garcia.

Miller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Miller lands a left and a right that send Garcia crashing to the mat, dazed. Miller thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Garcia is rocked!
Garcia drops his hands momentarily. Miller doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Garcia staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Garcia doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
