Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Galvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galvin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cooper defends it nicely.
Cooper throws a one two combo.
Cooper pushes Galvin up against the cage in a clinch.
Cooper is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Cooper breaks from the clinch.
Galvin moves out of range of the leg kick from Cooper.
Cooper moves into range and clinches up with Galvin.
Cooper gets underhooks to prevent Galvin's takedown attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Galvin goes for a takedown attempt but Cooper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Cooper leaves Galvin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Galvin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cooper is trying to defend but Galvin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Cooper won't allow Galvin to pass to mount.

Galvin is keen to just control but Cooper is a slippery customer.
Cooper tries to get to full guard but Galvin has control of the leg.
Cooper wants to control but Galvin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cooper tries to kick Galvin off but Galvin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Cooper is staying active underneath Galvin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Shane Galvin wasn't doing enough on the ground.

and Cooper counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cooper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Galvin fails with the takedown
and Cooper counters with a leg kick.
Galvin is breathing heavily.

Cooper darts in and clinches Galvin up against the cage.
Cooper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cooper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Galvin tries to avoid it but Cooper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Galvin to the ground. Galvin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cooper gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Galvin can't get the takedown.
Cooper has hold of one of Galvin's legs. Galvin is fighting the takedown attempt but Cooper gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Galvin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cooper pushes down on Galvin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Cooper looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Galvin is looking to improve his position.
Still in half guard, Cooper seems content to control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooper wants to stand but Galvin has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Galvin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Galvin controlling the position for now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Charlie Cooper was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Cooper lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Cooper dominated that round.
That's time! Galvin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cooper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cooper fails with the takedown.
Galvin misses with a takedown
so Cooper counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Galvin uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Galvin lands a nice shot to the body.
Galvin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cooper decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Galvin's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Galvin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Galvin looking for a triangle here. Cooper is fighting it but it looks tight! Galvin pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Cooper is tapping out - this one is all over!
