The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGinley circles away quickly and effectively.
Carwin closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Anderson McGinley has been cut.

McGinley fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carwin on the side of the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from McGinley. Carwin shrugs it off though.
McGinley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McGinley comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
