Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenrick Nikil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikil has chosen Wait and Bleed by Slipknot as his entrance music. Kenrick Nikil has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenrick Nikil!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nikil takes one on the button.
It looks like Kenrick Nikil has been cut.
Simmons loads up on a big right hand but Nikil slips the punch.
Simmons throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nikil tries to clinch there but Simmons circles away.
Nikil defending well as Simmons loads up on a big left hand.
Simmons with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Simmons swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Simmons feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nikils jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Simmons takes a swing at Nikil's ribcage but misses.
Nikil uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Simmons.
A shot to the body from Simmons misses
and Nikil counters with a stiff right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Simmons. Nikil does a little dance to reset his feet.
Simmons waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nikil.
Simmons looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Simmons gets caught flat footed, as Nikil shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Nikil throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Simmons works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Simmons wants to sweep but no luck.
Nikil trying to control the position from guard on top but Simmons is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nikil postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simmons bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nikil's guard.
Simmons has gone for a leg lock! Nikil slips out almost immediately though and dives into Simmons's guard.
Simmons looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Simmons wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Nikil lands a couple of elbows.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Simmons is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nikil defends well.
Simmons keeping moving, preventing Nikil from controlling successfully.
Simmons escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nikil gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Simmons working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nikil.
Nikil throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Simmons works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Nikil looking to sit in guard and control but Simmons gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Simmons trying to control but Nikil is working from the bottom.
Nikil not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Simmons passes Nikil's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Simmons is trying to control. Nikil wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Nikil tries to get to full guard but Simmons has control of the leg.
Simmons throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Nikil keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nikil can do anything to dispel that myth.
Simmons wants to pass the guard but Nikil is defending well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Simmons is trying to control the action in half guard but Nikil is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maxim Simmons dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kenrick Nikil's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Simmons thuds a left hand into Nikil's body.
Simmons is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Simmons here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Simmons misses with a few strikes there.
Maxim Simmons is winning the standup battle so far.
Nikil slips a jab from Simmons.
Simmons bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nikil's head backwards.
That has opened up Kenrick Nikil's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nikil uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Simmons.
Nikil dodges the punch combination from Simmons.
Simmons just misses with a punch to the body.
Simmons swings for the body but Nikil moves out of range.
Simmons throws a hook but Nikil avoids it easily.
Maxim Simmons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simmons lands an overhand right.
The cut above Kenrick Nikil's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Nikil scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Simmons scores with a jab.
Simmons waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nikil.
Simmons cracks Nikil with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nikil looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Simmons finish him?
Nikil is rocked!
Kenrick Nikil's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Simmons is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nikil can do to turn this around?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nikil backs away from a small jab... but Simmons lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Nikil crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Simmons with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Maxim Simmons!
