Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damion Weaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damion Weaver!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weaver shoots in but no luck this time.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Weaver pinned against the cage. Weaver gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jones - that will leave a mark!
Weaver fails with the takedown.

Jones gets a clinch.

Jones pulls guard effortlessly.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Weaver gets to his feet. Jones looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Weaver paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jones scores a takedown into full mount!
Weaver is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones working the ground and pound effectively.
Jones has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Weaver's face.
Weaver is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Weaver is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Weaver and Jones has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Weaver is trying to improve his position.

Jones stands up and beckons Weaver to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.

Weaver shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Jones tries to control the position but Weaver now has his back.
Weaver has Jones flattened out and is raining down punches.

Weaver is not going to allow Jones to sit and survive in this position.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Weaver is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jones has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Weaver has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jones taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Weaver doesn't care though - he's delighted!
