Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antonio Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rafal Dabrowski!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dabrowski momentarily.
Rivera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dabrowski's waist but Dabrowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rivera off to one side.
A combination from Rivera does no damage.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Rivera is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Rivera creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dabrowski sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Dabrowski is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rivera asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Dabrowski dodges the ground and pound from Rivera.

Rivera goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dabrowski rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rivera's guard! Nice work there by Dabrowski!

Rivera escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dabrowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rivera is looking for a triangle but Dabrowski pushes his legs off easily.
Dabrowski has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rivera is proving hard to escape from.

Rivera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dabrowski defends well.

Rivera is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
