Alexander comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Best Around By Joe Esposito kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sean Alexander will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sean Alexander!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Alexander looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hunt stays in close to Alexander's body and controls the position.
Hunt throws a big elbow that misses.
Hunt sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alexander's guard.
Hunt not doing much here.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hunt lands a nice short elbow.
Hunt looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunt is taking a breather. Alexander says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunt moves nicely into side control.
Hunt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alexander keeps working.
Alexander tries to escape but Hunt is in control.
Hunt working the head with strikes.


It looks like Sean Alexander has been cut.
Hunt staying calm.

Hunt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Alexander has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunt wants to control but Alexander is keeping him busy.
Hunt lands some shots froms side control.


That has opened up Sean Alexander's cut even more.
Hunt in side control lands a decent elbow.


Alexander is rocked!
Alexander takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Alexander is still in real trouble! Can Hunt finish him?


Sean Alexander's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sean Alexander's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mark Hunt!
