Krantz moves into the clinch successfully.
Pavluchenko has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Krantz regains guard immediately.
Pavluchenko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Krantz is keeping the position for now.
Pavluchenko drops back, looking for a kneebar! Krantz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Krantz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Krantz!
Krantz swings around for an armbar but Pavluchenko sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Krantz's guard.
Pavluchenko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Krantz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Pavluchenko content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Krantz has locked up a guillotine! Krantz's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Pavluchenko is holding on here and Krantz must be using up a lot of energy. Pavluchenko has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Krantz gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Zachary Krantz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
