Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Akbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Shinsato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinsato has chosen Yoshi Story as his entrance music. Akira Shinsato will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Akbar drives through with a takedown into Shinsato's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Akbar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Shinsato is looking to stand up but Akbar isn't so interested in that idea.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Akbar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Shinsato tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Akbar's elbow.
Akbar is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Shinsato pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Akbar has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Shinsato should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Akbar has tightened it up now! Shinsato should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
