The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Compton moves out of range of the strikes.
Silfversberg throws a lazy right hand but Compton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Silfversberg throws a jab when Compton was well out of range.
Silfversberg tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Compton is able to avoid easily.
Compton misses with a takedown attempt
and Silfversberg counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Silfversberg just misses with a punch to the body.
Compton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Silfversberg makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Compton with a poor takedown
and Silfversberg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Compton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silfversberg throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Compton on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Compton takes one on the button.
Compton is rocked!
Silfversberg throws out a loose jab but Compton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oh Compton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Compton tries for a takedown but Silfversberg circles away easily
and Silfversberg counters with a big right hand! Oh Compton is in trouble here! Silfversberg follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
