West fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Skipper has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Will West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Skipper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps West's head backwards.
West feints and then cracks Skipper's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Skipper down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

West throws a lazy right hand but Skipper sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

West takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Skipper takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A nice right hand lands inside from West.
West tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

West using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Skipper has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Skipper has West pressed against the cage, preventing West from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
West goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
West misses with a hook to the ribs.

The referee is keeping an eye on Skipper - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

West is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Skipper has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. West is looking to defend but Skipper has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for West! Skipper pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, West taps out and this one is all over!
