The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quest avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wahl misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wahl looks to land a combination but Quest avoids it well.
Quest slips a jab and a cross from Wahl.

No joy there for Wahl, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wahl stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Quest to get to his feet.
Quest takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Wahl is looking to stand up but Quest isn't so interested in that idea.

Quest tries to lock up and control but Wahl gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Quest will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Quest is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Quest extends the arm and Wahl is forced to tap!
