Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Owth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bob's choice of entrance music: Notkea rotta - Itä meidän. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Billy Bob!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Owth's waist but Owth gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bob off to one side.
Owth jabs Bob to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Owth takes a swing at Bob's ribcage but misses.
Bob shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Owth as he avoids it easily.
Bob fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ruben Owth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Bob.

Owth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Owth wants to pass the guard but Bob is defending well.
Well, if Owth is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Owth is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Owth throws a strike but Bob avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Owth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Owth drops back looking for a leg! Bob is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bob manages to kick Owth off! Owth jumps back into Bob's guard.

Bob is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bob manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Owth manages to get himself to full guard.

Bob wants to stand and escape but Owth is having none of it.
Owth wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving.
Owth content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Owth is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Owth postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Billy Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Owth punishes Bob's body with a nice straight punch.

Bob throws out a loose jab but Owth uses good head movement to avoid it.
Owth tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bob was well out of range. Poor timing from Owth.

Owth ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Owth decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Owth takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bob is refusing to be controlled, as Owth sits in half guard.
Owth throws a strike but Bob avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Owth postures up in Bob's guard and throws a big left but Bob blocks it.
Owth throws a strike but Bob rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Owth is adopting a defensive guard.
Bob has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Owth is proving hard to escape from.

Owth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bob has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Owth to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bob is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Owth pulls down on the head and he's put Bob to sleep! This one is all over!
