Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohsen Mosaddegh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gardner comes to the cage accompanied by Stavesacre - Minuteman. Mohsen Mosaddegh will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mohsen Mosaddegh!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mosaddegh throws a body kick that misses.
Mohsen Mosaddegh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mosaddegh slips a jab and a cross from Gardner.

Gardner gets caught napping as Mosaddegh dives in and scores a takedown. Gardner manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gardner is refusing to be controlled, as Mosaddegh sits in half guard.
Gardner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mosaddegh is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gardner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gardner seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Mosaddegh is working Gardner over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mosaddegh is trying to maintain the position but Gardner is very close to passing his half guard.
Gardner wants to control but Mosaddegh is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mohsen Mosaddegh will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gardner's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Gardner gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mosaddegh regains guard.
Mosaddegh wants to stand up but Gardner is controlling him.

Mosaddegh has his feet on Gardner's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Gardner is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gardner slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Gardner throws a hook but Mosaddegh avoids it easily.

Mosaddegh has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Gardner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mosaddegh was well out of range. Poor timing from Gardner.
Mosaddegh looks to land a combination. Gardner sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Mohsen Mosaddegh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Mosaddegh tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Mosaddegh has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Gardner cracks Mosaddegh with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Mosaddegh from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Gardner is landing with strikes. Mosaddegh can't take much more of this.
Gardner is riding his opponent, not letting Mosaddegh buck him off.

You can see the frustration on Mosaddegh's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Mosaddegh is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Gardner.
Gardner thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
