Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bang McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf's entrance music is Primus: John the Fisherman. A fine choice. McGee has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bang McGee!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf throws the left hand but McGee avoids the punch easily.
Wolf misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McGee.

and Wolf takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wolf turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McGee checks a leg kick.

and McGee counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Wolf gets a takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
McGee wants to get back to his feet.

Wolf is stalling here. McGee is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wolf seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McGee has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Wolf has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McGee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Wolf is looking to regain half guard here but McGee keeps moving and retains side control.
McGee scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Wolf to see if he's OK.

Wolf manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McGee manages to get himself to full guard.
Johnny Wolf overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wolf lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McGee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McGee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A combination from McGee does no damage.

McGee looks to land a left hand but Wolf moved out of range nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Johnny Wolf showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Wolf has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
