The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa looks for a takedown but Megalopolis sprawls well.
Sosa misses the shot to the body.

Oooooh!!! Megalopolis has knocked Sosa down with a huge combo! Megalopolis steps away and waves a wobbly Sosa back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Rudy Sosa has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice sprawl there from Sosa as Megalopolis shoots in.
Megalopolis shoots in but Sosa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Megalopolis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sosa circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zergatron Megalopolis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sosa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sosa tries to clinch up but Megalopolis circles away and keeps his distance.
Sosa fails with a takedown attempt.
Sosa misses with a double jab
and Megalopolis counters with a stiff right hand.
Sosa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Megalopolis enables Sosa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Megalopolis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sosa has eaten all the pies!

Megalopolis is working an open guard so Sosa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Sosa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Megalopolis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sosa somewhat.
Megalopolis shoots in but Sosa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sosa tries to clinch up

and Megalopolis counters with a crisp one two that drops Sosa! Megalopolis thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sosa to his feet! Sosa is in big trouble!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sosa throws a head kick that misses.

Megalopolis throws a sloppy head kick and Sosa moves out of range easily.
Sosa fails with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Sosa or perhaps it was just good defense by Megalopolis which made him look bad.
Megalopolis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sosa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Megalopolis lands a nice looking body shot.
Sosa loses concentration momentarily and Megalopolis pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Sosa crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Megalopolis finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
