Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes into the arena with In the Air Tonight blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from West.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

West avoids the body shot from Nelson.
Nelson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Nelson is looking to advance position but West won't allow it.
Nelson is trying to control. West wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Nelson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but West sees it coming and defends easily.
West tries to get to full guard but Nelson has control of the leg.
Nelson wants to free his trapped foot but West is holding on for dear life with his legs.
West is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Nelson jumps into side control!
West parries the strikes from Nelson easily there. Nelson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable West to escape.
West is trying to improve his position.
West is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nelson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Nelson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
West is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Nelson has hold of West's arm. He's looking for a kimura. West seems comfortable defending it but Nelson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! West is real pain and he's forced to tap out! West is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Nelson couldn't care less - he's delighted!

After winning the bout, Shaun Nelson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
