The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leocadio connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Leocadio lunges at Bum with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bum's hand.
Bum closes the distance looking to clinch
and Leocadio counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Leocadio lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bum takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Leocadio looks to land a combination. Bum sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Leocadio ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bum moves away.
Leocadio throws a head kick but Bum moves out of range.
Leocadio thows a body shot but no joy.
Bum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leocadio but Leocadio pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bum's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Leocadio connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bum scrambles back to his feet.
Bum avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bum closes the distance and clinches up with Leocadio, looking for a takedown. Bum pushes Leocadio against the cage but Leocadio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Leocadio lands a really nice looking cross but Bum seems unphased.

Bum looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Leocadio is staying active underneath Bum, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bum misses with a series of wild punches.
Bum has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Leocadio finds it's way round the side to connect with Bum's head.

Leocadio lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Leocadio lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Leocadio stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leocadio wants it to stay on the feet.
A head kick from Leocadio lands but Bum takes it in his stride.

Bum has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Bum rushes Leocadio and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bum tries to score a body lock takedown but Leocadio shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
