The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aces misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Faber.
Faber fails to land the takedown.
Faber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aces but Aces pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Faber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jonny Aces has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Urijah Faber.
Faber misses with a double jab.
A combination from Faber does no damage.
Faber rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aces moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Aces avoids a punch combination nicely.
Aces circles away from the clinch attempt.
Faber tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Aces manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Faber avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Faber on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Faber throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Faber dodges the punch combination from Aces.

Faber pushes Aces up against the cage in a clinch.

Aces escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Aces lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Faber walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Aces misses with a body shot
and Faber counters with a two punch combo.
Aces throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Faber tries to clinch but Aces is having none of it.
Aces avoids a punch combination nicely.

Faber has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aces is trying to push Faber away but Faber has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Faber manages to pull guard.

Faber looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Aces is defending well. Faber quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Aces has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Faber celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
