Tiv's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Animal I have become - Three Days Grace. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Tiv sizes up Velasquez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Cain Velasquez has been cut.
Tiv throws a right and a left that both miss.

Tiv gets caught napping as Velasquez dives in and scores a takedown. Tiv manages to retain guard.
Tiv wants to get back to his feet but Velasquez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Velasquez scoring with some ground and pound.

Velasquez stops Tiv from standing up.
Velasquez distracts Tiv with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Velasquez throws a big right hand that misses.
Tiv wants to stand but Velasquez is controlling the position.
Velasquez is looking to work some ground and pound but Tiv has wrist control.
Velasquez with a flurry of punches that miss.
Tiv utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tiv keeping moving, preventing Velasquez from controlling successfully.
Tiv wants to stand but Velasquez is controlling the position.

Velasquez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Velasquez throws a big elbow that misses.
Velasquez cracks Tiv with a solid left hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tiv has his feet on Velasquez's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Velasquez throws a hook but Tiv avoids it easily.

Tiv looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Velasquez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
No joy there for Tiv, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Tiv drops Velasquez with a beautiful combination! Velasquez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tiv is looking for the KO!

Velasquez is rocked!
Tiv lands with a big right hook that stumbles Velasquez - he's out on his feet here! Tiv follows up with another monster hook that separates Velasquez from consciousness! Velasquez falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Tiv stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

A very excited looking Laxa Tiv rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
