The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kier looking to score a takedown here. Esqueleto is defending well but Kier drives through and ends up in Esqueleto's guard.

Esqueleto is working an open guard so Kier takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Esqueleto doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kier counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Esqueleto throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kier uses it to pass to side control.
