Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gideon Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James McDonovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turner comes to the ring accompanied by Eye of the tiger. On his way into the ring it seems that Gideon Turner has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gideon Turner seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner drives through with a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Turner throwing strikes from guard but McDonovan blocks nicely.
Turner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Turner is working McDonovan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Turner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McDonovan doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Turner won't allow McDonovan to sweep him here.

McDonovan is rocked!
Turner arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! McDonovan's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
