The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Witek throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Witek misses with a few strikes there.
Alvarez is looking to clinch but Witek is avoiding it.
Witek thuds a left hand into Alvarez's body.
Alvarez throws a looping overhand right but Witek ducks down to avoid it.

Alvarez moves into the clinch.
Witek stalling in the clinch but Alvarez improves position.
Alvarez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Witek smiles and moves away.
Witek misses with a series of wild punches.
Alvarez tries to clinch up but Witek circles away and keeps his distance.
Witek throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alvarez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Alvarez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Witek fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alvarez throws a jab when Witek was well out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Witek lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Witek.
Witek connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Alvarez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Alvarez scores with a hook to the body. Witek takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Alvarez misses the shot to the body.
Santiago Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Witek looks to land a combination but Alvarez avoids it well.
Alvarez punishes Witek's body with a nice straight punch.
Alvarez misses with a straight left.
Alvarez cracks Witek with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Witek lands the left hand.
Witek misses with a double jab.
Alvarez scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sloppy strikes from Alvarez. Those never looked like landing.
Witek sizes up Alvarez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Witek lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alvarez circles away quickly and effectively.

Witek's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Witek duly obliges.

Alvarez is rocked!

It looks like Santiago Alvarez has been cut.
Witek throws a series of punches but Alvarez moves out of range.

Witek drops Alvarez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Alvarez looks back up at him and smiles so Witek waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Alvarez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Witek throws a right and a left that Alvarez avoids nicely.
A combination from Witek does no damage.
Witek scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Witek paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Alvarez drops his hands for a split second and Witek immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Alvarez face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Witek follows up with a right hand that knocks Alvarez into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
