The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Duran misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Duran misses the target.
Duran slips under a jab.
Duran scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Harvey Holcomb has been cut.
Duran getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Jab, jab by Duran - just one landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duran throws a hook but Holcomb avoids it easily.
Duran ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A decent looking cross lands there for Holcomb.
A jab lands there for Duran.
Holcomb throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Duran sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Holcomb misses with a looping left.
Duran misses with a hook. Holcomb ducked under it nicely.
Holcomb rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Duran counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That has opened up Harvey Holcomb's cut even more.
Holcomb pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Duran is looking to clinch.
A jab from Duran misses.

Holcomb fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Duran avoids a punch combination nicely.
Holcomb takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Duran moves into the clinch.
Holcomb jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duran walks away with a smile on his face. Holcomb gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Duran lands with a right hand.

Duran gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duran wants to lay and pray for a moment but Holcomb keeps working.
Holcomb wants to control but Duran postures up.
Holcomb is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Duran is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Holcomb is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holcomb dodges the ground and pound from Duran.
Holcomb managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Duran.
Holcomb manages to work his way to half guard, despite Duran's best efforts.
Holcomb is doing well to control the position and prevent Duran from advancing to side control.

Duran is looking for a kimura here.
Holcomb wants to control but Duran passes into side.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Duran works to advance to full mount. Holcomb defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Duran can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holcomb is looking to escape.
Holcomb wants to hold on but Duran pushes him away.
Duran lands a nice shot to the head.

The cut above Harvey Holcomb's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Harvey Holcomb's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
