Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Magnani can't do much from the bottom here.
A lull in the action here.
Hill tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Magnani sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hill is controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jalen Hill.
Magnani misses the shot to the body.
Magnani lands with an overhand left.
Hill defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Magnani.
Hill manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Magnani on his heels. He'll look to pass Magnani's guard now, I'm sure.
Hill is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hill scoring with punches to the head and body.
Hill stands and throws Magnani's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hill happy to just control the position for now.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jalen Hill dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Magnani misses with a double jab.
Magnani throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hill stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hill shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hill showed some decent athleticism there.
Hill trying to mount his opponent but Magnani defends it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hill in particular looking to stall.
Hill trying to pass the guard but Magnani defending well.

Hill works his foot free and advances to mount.
Magnani wants to hold on but Hill pushes him away.
Hill content just to control the position here.

Hill sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hill controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jalen Hill has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hill closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Magnani to the mat! Magnani manages to get full guard.
Hill controls from within his opponent's guard.
Hill wants to control from the top but Magnani keeps moving.
Hill wants to pass the guard but Magnani is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jalen Hill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Hill dodges the punch combination from Magnani.
Magnani bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hill's head backwards.
Hill shoots in and gets a takedown into Magnani's guard.
Hill content to stall in guard here.
Let's hope that Hill has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Hill is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hill drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Magnani dives on top into guard.
Hill looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Magnani trying to control but Hill is working from the bottom.
Hill seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Hill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Magnani gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Magnani wants to get up but he can't break Hill's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hill is pulling down on Magnani's head. It's preventing any offense from Magnani, at least for the moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hill keeping moving, preventing Magnani from controlling successfully.
Hill is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Still in half guard, Hill seems content to control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hill walks into a left hand.
Magnani looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hill is fending him off so far but Magnani persists. Nope, Hill circles away and we're back to standing.
Hill closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hill stalling.
Hill is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Magnani!
Hill is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Hill!
