PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anvil CorpseGrinder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pieni Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CorpseGrinder's entrance music is raining blood by SLAYER. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anvil CorpseGrinder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pieni Mies!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CorpseGrinder takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
CorpseGrinder tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mies sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten CorpseGrinder somewhat.
CorpseGrinder lands a glancing blow to the side of Mies's head.
CorpseGrinder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mies tries to avoid it but CorpseGrinder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mies to the ground. Mies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
CorpseGrinder shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anvil CorpseGrinder. That's going to take a lot out of him.

CorpseGrinder dives in and scores a takedown into Mies's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
CorpseGrinder tries to free his leg and advance position but Mies is retaining full guard.
CorpseGrinder trying to control but Mies is working from the bottom.
CorpseGrinder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mies swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mies wants to get back to his feet but CorpseGrinder is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
CorpseGrinder passes easily into side control. Nice work.

CorpseGrinder has an Americana. Mies didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! CorpseGrinder is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if CorpseGrinder hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
