The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foran connects with a right hand. Cruz shakes it off.
Kieran Foran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foran throws an overhand right that lands on Cruz's shoulder, as Cruz tries to avoid the shot.
A left lands for Foran.
Foran is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Foran scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cruz in his tracks.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cruz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Foran is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Foran unloads with some shots from mount but Cruz bucks and avoids them well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Foran sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Foran cracks Cruz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cruz wants to hold on but Foran pushes him away.

Foran wants to finish this one by submission but Cruz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Foran.
Cruz is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dominick Cruz will probably get the nod.

Foran fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Foran throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cruz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Foran thuds his right hand into Cruz's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Cruz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Foran sprawls well initially but Cruz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Foran tries to kick Cruz off but Cruz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Cruz wants to pass to mount but Foran is defending the position.

Cruz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dominick Cruz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cruz takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Foran wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Cruz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cruz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Foran uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cruz has time to react.
